Military

Active duty U.S. military and veterans are strongly encouraged to apply to the Health Physics program.

The Health Physics Program welcomes students who are on active duty with the military. Our unique location in the nation’s capital affords military men and women stationed in Washington DC the opportunity to earn a master’s degree in health physics while completing their tour of duty here. Full-time students can earn a degree in a little as one academic year, while part-time students can take up to three years to fulfill the degree requirements.

Every attempt will be made to try to accommodate the special needs of men and women serving in our military. Applicants from the military should contact the Program Director as early as possible, and before formal application to the program, to ensure that all deadlines and entrance requirements are met and to expedite the application process.
