Undergrad Students

Although the Health Physics Program does not offer a bachelor’s degree, Georgetown undergraduate students may take graduate courses offered by the Health Physics Program with the permission of their academic advisor and the director of the course. Both science and government policy majors are encouraged to take Health Physics courses. Students with other majors will be considered, provided they have sufficient technical background and appropriate grades to handle the material. Interested students should contact the Program Director for guidance as to which courses would best serve their educational objectives.

The Health Physics faculty will also consider mentoring Georgetown undergraduate students wishing to do their senior thesis on any topic related to radiation protection.
